Past Perfect Continuous Tense के इस टॉपिक में Tense की पहचान करना, Past Perfect Continuous Tense के लिए Hindi से English में Translate करने हेतु प्रयुक्त होने वाला Formula, Past Perfect Continuous Tense के Rule तथा Past Perfect Continuous Tense के Example के साथ अधिक विस्तार में यहाँ दिया गया है।

Past Perfect Continuous Tense की पहचान करें –

Past Perfect Continuous Tense के Sentence को Hindi से English में Translate करने के लिए सर्वप्रथम उसकी पहचान करें कि दिया गया Hindi Sentence (हिंदी वाक्य)  Past Perfect Continuous Tense का है या नहीं ।

पहचान (Recognition)

जब  किसी  हिंदी  वाक्य  के  अंत  में रहा था, रही थी, रहे थे, इत्यादि शब्द आएं तो ऐसे वाक्यों को Hindi से English में Translate करने के लिए  Past  Perfect Continuous Continuous Tense  का प्रयोग होगा।

जैसे -

• वह सोमवार से जा रहा था।
• मैं 3 दिन से किताब पढ रहा था।
• बच्चे एक घंटे से नदी में तैर रहे थे।
• पूनम सुबह से खाना पका रही थी।

उपर्युक्त दिए गए हिंदी वाक्य  Past Perfect Continuous Continuous Tense के सेंटेंस हैं अतः ऐसे सभी Hindi Sentence को हिंदी से अंग्रेजी बनाने के लिए Past Perfect Continuous Continuous Tense के Rule का प्रयोग होगा।

 
Types of Past Perfect Continuous Sentences in Hindi
Past Perfect Continuous Tense के Sentences निम्नलिखित प्रकार के हो सकते हैं  –

• Affirmative Sentences
• Negative Sentences
• Interrogative Sentences
• Interrogative Negative Sentences

Affirmative Sentences

Past Perfect Continuous Tense के Affirmative Sentences को Hindi से English में अनुवाद करने के लिए  निम्नलिखित Rule of Translation का प्रयोग करें -

Formula :
Subject + had been + V1(ing) + Object + Since / For + Time

 
Rule of Translation [Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Affirmative Sentences]

• Rule: 1. सर्वप्रथम Subject को English में Translate करें -
• Rule 2`. इसके पश्चात  Helping Verb (had been) Subject के अनुसार लिखें –
• [नोट: चाहे  Sentence में Subject  एक वचन (Singular Number) हो अथवा Subject  के स्थान पर He , She , it  आदि दिया हो या फिर Sentence में Subject  बहुवचन  (Plural Number) हो  अथवा   Subject  के स्थान पर  I, We, You , They आदि दिया हो प्रत्येक Subject के साथ  Helping Verb “had”  का प्रयोग करें]
• Rule 3`. इसके पश्चात  Verb की First Form + ing लिखें -
• Rule 4`. इसके पश्चात Object लिखें -
• Rule 5`. इसके पश्चात Sentence में शेष शब्दों का English में Translate करके लिखें –
• Rule 6`. इसके पश्चात Since For लगाकर दिए हुए Time को लिखें -

जैसे - पूनम सुबह से खाना पका रही थी।

अतः उपर्युक्त Formula : Subject + had been/had been + Verb(First Form + ing) + Object + Since / For + Time से
Poonam + had been + cooking + the food + since morning.

Examples
लड़का 5 साल से पत्र लिख रहा था।
A boy had been written a letter for 5 years.

वह 7 बजे से बाजार जा रहा था।
He had been going to the market 7 o’clock.

वह पिछले सप्ताह से मैदान में खेल रही थी।
She had been playing in the ground since last week.

लड़के कल से पत्र लिख रहे थे।
The boys had been written a letter since yesterday.

मैं 4 साल से बाज़ार जा रहा था।
I had been going to the market for 4 years.

वे रविवार से मैदान में खेल रहे थे
They had been playing in the ground since Sunday.

वह एक महीने से मुझे इंग्लिश पढ़ा रहा था।
He had been taught me English for one month.

मोहन 4 हफ्ते से स्कूल जा रहा था।
Mohan had been going to school for 4 week.

Negative Sentence -

Past Perfect Continuous Tense के  Negative Sentence की पहचान करें,
ऐसे हिंदी वाक्य जिनमें  'नहीं'  शब्द दिया होता था वे Negative Sentences के अंतर्गत आते थे। 
जैसे -
वह सोमवार से नहीं जा रहा था।
मैं 2 साल से किताब नहीं पढ रहा था।
बच्चे नदी में रात से नहीं तैर रहे थे।
पूनम एक साल से खाना नहीं पका रही थी।

Past Perfect Continuous Continuous Tense को Negative Sentence में प्रयोग करने के लिए Hindi से English में अनुवाद करते समय निम्नलिखित Rule का प्रयोग करें -

Formula :
Subject + had + not + been + V1 (ing) + Object + Since / For + Time

 
Rule of Translation [Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Negative Sentence]

• सर्वप्रथम Subject को English में Translate करें -
• इसके पश्चात  Helping Verb (had) लिखें –
• [नोट: चाहे  Sentence में Subject  एक वचन (Singular Number) हो अथवा Subject  के स्थान पर He , She , it  आदि दिया हो या फिर Sentence में Subject  बहुवचन  (Plural Number) हो  अथवा   Subject  के स्थान पर  I, We, You , They आदि दिया हो प्रत्येक Subject के साथ  Helping Verb “had”  का प्रयोग करें]
• इसके पश्चात not लिखें -

• इसके पश्चात Since For लगाकर दिए हुए Time को लिखें -

जैसे - पूनम एक साल से खाना नहीं पका रही थी।

अतः उपर्युक्त Formula : Subject + had + not + been + Verb(First Form + ing) + Object + Since / For + Time से

Poonam + had + not + been + cooking + the food + for one year.

वह पिछले सोमवार से नहीं जा रहा था।

He had not been going since last Monday.

पूनम 3 बजे से खाना नहीं पका रही थी।

Poonam had not been cooked the food since 3 o’clock.

मैं सुबह से किताब नहीं पढ रहा था।

I had not been reading the book since morning.

बच्चे 4 बजे से नदी में नहीं तैर रहे थे।

Children had not been swimming in the river since 4 o’clock.

हम कल से नहीं जा रहे थे।

We had not been going since yesterday.

वे पिछले साल से नहीं खेल रहे थे।

They had not been playing since last year.

तुम कल से नहीं सो रहे थे।

You had not been sleeping since yesterday.

Interrogative Sentence

ये 2 प्रकार के होते हैं  –

(1). Interrogative Sentences - Type 1

(जब वाक्य के प्रारम्भ में प्रश्नवाचक शब्द ' क्या ' दिया हो)
जैसे-
क्या वह जाता था।

Formula:
Had + Subject + been + V1(ing) + Object + since / for + Time

Rule of Translation [Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Interrogative Sentences - Type 1]

• सर्वप्रथम  Helping Verb ( had ) लिखें –
• [नोट: चाहे  Sentence में Subject  एक वचन (Singular Number) हो अथवा Subject  के स्थान पर He , She , it  आदि दिया हो या फिर Sentence में Subject  बहुवचन  (Plural Number) हो  अथवा   Subject  के स्थान पर  I, We, You , They आदि दिया हो प्रत्येक Subject के साथ  Helping Verb “had”  का प्रयोग करें]
• इसके पश्चात Subject को English में Translate करें –
• इसके पश्चात been लिखें -
• इसके पश्चात  Verb की First Form + ing लिखें -
• इसके पश्चात Object लिखें -
• इसके पश्चात Sentence में शेष शब्दों का English में Translate करके लिखें –
• इसके पश्चात Since / For लगाकर दिए हुए Time को लिखें -

जैसे - क्या पूनम सुबह से खाना पका रही थी।

अतः उपर्युक्त Formula:  had been + Subject + Verb(First Form + ing)+ Object + Since / For + Time से

Had + Poonam + been + cooking + the food + since morning.

क्या वह 6 साल से  जा रहा था।

Had he been going for 6 years.

क्या पूनम ४ दिन से खाना पका रही थी।

Had Poonam been cooked the food for 4 days.

क्या मैं रात से किताब पढ रहा था।

Had I been reading  a book since night.

क्या बच्चे 3 बजे से नदी में तैर रहे थे।

Had the children been swimming in the river since 3 o’clock.

क्या हम 2 दिन जा रहे है।

Had we been going for 2 days.

क्या वे शाम से खेल रहे थे

Had they been playing since evening.

क्या तुम रात से सो रहे हो

Had you been sleeping since night.

(2). Interrogative Sentences Type - 2

(जब वाक्य के बीच में प्रश्नवाचक शब्द ' क्या ' , ' क्यों ' , ' कब ' , ' कैसे ' इत्यादि दिए हों )

 
Formula:
Question word + had + Subject + been + V1(ing) + Object + Since / For + Time

Rule of Translation [Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Interrogative Sentences Type - 2]

• सर्वप्रथम प्रश्नवाचक शब्द की अंग्रेजी लिखें -
• इसके पश्चात Helping Verb ( had ) लिखें –
• [नोट: चाहे  Sentence में Subject  एक वचन (Singular Number) हो अथवा Subject  के स्थान पर He , She , it  आदि दिया हो या फिर Sentence में Subject  बहुवचन  (Plural Number) हो  अथवा   Subject  के स्थान पर  I, We, You , They आदि दिया हो प्रत्येक Subject के साथ  Helping Verb “had”  का प्रयोग करें]
• इसके पश्चात been लिखें -
• इसके पश्चात Subject को English में Translate करें -

अतः उपर्युक्त Formula:  Q.W. + had + Subject + been + Verb(First Form)ing + Object + Since / For + Time से
Why + had + Poonam+ been + cooking + the food+ since morning

Where had he been going since last night?

पूनम 5 साल से खाना कैसे पका रही थी।

How had Poonam been cooked the food for 5 years?

मैं क्या 2 बजे से पढ रहा था।

बच्चे नदी में एक घंटे से क्यों  तैर रहे थे।

When had the children been swimming in the river one hour?

हम कल से कहाँ जा रहे है।

Where had we been going since yesterday?

वे पिछली जुलाई से कहाँ खेल रहे थे

When had they been playing since last July?

तुम 2 दिन से क्यों सो रहे हो

Why had you been sleeping for 2 days?

Interrogative Negative Sentence

(जब वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक के साथ - साथ नकारात्मक भी हो)

जैसे -

क्या वह रात से नहीं जा रहा था।

वे 3 महीने से क्यों  नहीं खेल रहे थे

ऐसे Sentence बनाने के लिए Interrogative Sentence के लिए Interrogative rule का उपयोग करें और Negative Sentence के लिए Sentence में  Main verb से पहले not का प्रयोग करें।

[नोट: चाहे  Sentence में Subject  एक वचन (Singular Number) हो अथवा Subject  के स्थान पर He , She , it  आदि दिया हो या फिर Sentence में Subject  बहुवचन  (Plural Number) हो  अथवा   Subject  के स्थान पर  I, We, You , They आदि दिया हो प्रत्येक Subject के साथ  Helping Verb “had”  का प्रयोग करें]

क्या वह आज से  नहीं जा रहा था।

Had been he not going since today?

वे क्यों 7 साल से  नहीं खेल रहे थे

When had been  they not playing for 7 years.

क्या वह 2 दिन से  नहीं जा रहा था।

वह पिछले साल से कहाँ नहीं जा रही थी

37. मोहन सोमवार से रात में काम कर रहा था ।

38. वह 1 घंटे से सुबह में नहा रहा था ।

He had been taking a bath in the morning for 1 hour.

39. हम २ दिन से रात में पढ़ रहे थे।

We had been studying at night for 2 days.

40. वे पिछले 5 साल से मेरे घर में आ रहे थे।

41. सोहन जुलाई से अपना काम घर पर कर रहा था।

Dogs had been barking at strangers since morning.

47. किसान सुबह से अपनी फसल काट रहे थे।

53. कुछ बच्चे 25 दिन से सुबह में जल्दी उठ रहे थे।

102. क्या राम 15 सप्ताह से जा रहा था ।
